Like every Junior it is our turn to plan Prom this year. I
wanted to participate at it is an important part of our high-school life, but
was not ready to take full charge on it.
For this reason I am part of the Finance committee. I will work to get
all the prizes and be sure that the budget we have allows us to achieve what we
want.
We already had two meetings and chose the theme and are pretty
sure on the location. We will have a Great Gatsby 1920’s prom and most probably
in Westhouse, which is a house perfect for the theme as it is classic and
charming. As the school has felt bad towards the amount of money we spend
everywhere on prom. We decided to make this prom smaller and only invite Seniors
and Juniors. This is the first year that ISK does this, and we will see how it
goes.
Concerning the budget we have not yet had a lot to work on,
but as soon as it moves forward our work will come in place.
